It hurts but I deal with it. Whats crazy is I make a big deal out of my hubby bday or my family asks what am I getting for theres. Mines comes around and its "idk, happy birthday I guess"

I can stay pissed or move on with life. Older you get the less important birthdays are. Mines just happens to be among the ones that are less important.

Don't worry. One year my husband forgot my birthday. Dropped him off at work and everything.
I went to work and about 3hrs later he calls saying he forgot.

Its pretty common for me. People are occupied with themselves so I don't expect anyone to give a fukk about me. The day doesn't even matter anymore. I actually try and bypass it without mention now, especially since that year my husband, mom, and grandparents all forgot about it.

It's obvious it's a surprise party like mentioned. If not, at least have your daughter. Just don't give anyone a call or gift for 5 years when it's there time. .

I remember how lame my 18th and 21st birthday were. Like got so high I didn't really "celebrate", and my "friends" swore I was having fun.

But living to to 50 will be amazing for me personally, the way I lived for years I shouldn't make it. I'll will take myself skydiving, or hopefully by then be a touring artist and bring a cake on stage.
