Fercc wit’ me:

Women who play professional sports want money and notoriety, Right?
But they can’t get that without fielding a compelling product for everyone, right?

But how do they do this?
Men watch sports for the competition
Kids/young adults watch stars/personalities
Women watch catty, messy, drama and bullchit.

Therefore I propose this:

There should only be one women’s pro sports league. The Sports League of Women’s Professionals.

All of the women athletes can join, no matter what their pre-eminent amateur sports league was.
The Rub: every season at the beginning, there will be a lottery which determines what the next season’s sport for The League.

So say out of the lottery ball they select…Football.
The next month The League has the draft for football teams. Everyone who is in the league can decide if they want to enter the draft
for that season. Of course, you probably want ladies who have played in the LPL,
but you would also love to have Shcarri Richardson as a Running Back, maybe Angel Reese in the middle on offense or defense.
You would have all the pro women athletes in The League to pick from. That would make for interesting and compelling sport.

And since the sport would change every season, each athlete may have their dominant sport selected which would make it easier
for them to set how much salary they would like before the draft, or affect their options after.

On top of that, each team gets their own “Real (Sport of the season) players of (city)” that will air in their region on Bravo.
This will create more stars/faces/heels.
At the end of the season, the champions will have a messy reunion show with Andy Cohen.

Next season, do it all over again with another sport.
