True that. I bought a like new 2012 MacBook for $450 back in 2014 from someone who had no rating.

I took the chance since it was so cheap and they lived quite close (but no pick up option)

I actually got it


But op you aren't the only one. I tried selling a galaxy s6 in a hurry and within an hour of someone buying it I had already sent it to the post office to ship(needed the money in a hurry). Turns out the dude was a scammer. I learned from it and now I actually wait for the money to go to my PayPal pending first before shipping

Aren't you protected though with PayPal for 6 months though? Maybe at least wait to see if you get it first before disputing.
