I think i just bricked my Iphone 6 brehs....help

So i've been on ios 8.1.2 for a long time. I have a iphone 6 64gig.....wanted to update to IOS 8.4 so i tried to update my phone via itunes through the computer. Mind you....i was jailbroken on 8.1.2. I got to the installing point with the apple logo and install/loading bar under it. It stops midway and says "error unable to restore iphone (53) or something like that. I tried this multiiple times and it stops at the exact same point. I even downgraded to a older version of itunes and everything...still no success.

Restarted my phone.....STILL no success. Just did a online screen share session with a apple rep through the apple site....they couldnt figure it out and schedules a call by from a expert for 8:45am this morning. The online advisor said the error 53 is usually a PC hardware issue but when i googled online im reading that its a failed touch id issue or something like that? I've read theres no way to fix this problem myself and only a apple store can fix the problem

im fukking pissed....all i wanted to do is update to 8.4 and jailbreak and now i get this bullshyt

My phone is flawless......anybody else have this problem? Am i fukked? Im still under warranty obviously since i have a iphone 6. I dont have a apple store in my city...is it possible to get a replacement at one of the ATT stores without getting charged like im buying a new iphone 6?

who did you buy it from? I'd you bought it at AT&T you have a greater chance of them helping you.

oh and you knew I had to do it...

leave team Android and then jailbreak your iPhone to unlock it like an android only to brick it in the end, brehs

I was on 8.4. Went to this thot house and was there all night. My phone was in my jeans but fell out. I think she stepped on my phone

So when i got home....I plugged it in the charger when it got to 10%. It kept saying that the apple cord wasnt certified. None of my cords would work. They are all official

So i decided to restore but i couldnt plug it to the computer. So i did it from the phone

half way threw it just stopped restoring. So i restarted the phone. It didnt do shyt lol

brought it to the sprint store. He told me the camera got broke so he couldnt service it for free. I bytched...

they called the apple store. Went there and got my phone replaced no problem

in and out in 20 minutes

shout out to apple. I might get apple care for the 6s intsead of through sprint

pplus they give NEW phones instead of Refurbished ones

yea im thinking i will have to go to the apple store and get it replaced completely. Ive spent the whole morning talking to a apple hardware advisor and he said its a hardware issue....either the computer that i used to update it or my iphone. Im assuming its my iphone because my pc is fine and we did EVERYTHING you could possibly do on the pc side of things as well as the iphone side of things. Man i had a feeling i shouldve just stayed on my 8.1.2 and been content but i waited long enough for a update lol. The nearest apple store is a hour away though......im going to try my att store first because its closer but if not.......i gotta make this drive all for this smh

damn just read it....that hour ride is tough. AT&T gonna take like three days regardless. I wouldnt do it. Pretty sure you gonna have to ship them the phone...that takes two days. Then they gonna ship you a refurbisehed phone...that takes two days

with apple i would call the store and let them know you traveling far and want to be guaranteed that you gonna get your phone replaced if its deemed not ya fault

apple got this thing about "setting expectations" if a rep or employee sets an expectation they will fulfill it within reason

really depends on how long you wanna wait tho

yea it was real quick too. All he did was try to update it on his macbook and it gave him the same error. He was basically like welp....you'll be getting a new phone...no pushback or anything...shyt kind of shocked me
