I have always been aware of the extent to which east Asians engage in 'c00ning.' It starts with their names. How many of them in western countries run around with names like Jonathan and Benjamin and Eve and Christine? They are the only immigrant group as far as I am aware that try so hard to assimilate with white people that they dont even give their kids traditional names from their own culture and language. As a south Asian it's completely unimaginable for me to think that one day there might be brown kids called Angelo or Dylan. Only Christians give their kids names like that, and fair enough for them I suppose. They are such a small minority anyway. For the rest of us, we stick by our traditional names that white people can't even pronounce, and are so long and so complicated that white hiring managers probably toss out our resumes just after looking at the name on top. But we would rather be proud of who we are and deal with the consequences of that, than sell out and try to whiten ourselves, unlike east Asians
