In 2022 you shouldn't be driving a car built in the 20th century. A classic car is usually defined as a a vehicle that is 25 years or older. So if you driving a 97 camry, you might as well be driving 55 chevy. thats a restoration , a carshow showpiece, not an everyday driver.

Yeah, car repairs happen randomly. Its not planned and embarrassing to have your whip malfunctioning while doing an errand. Even cars from the early 00s, some mechanics will be blunt with you and say "Its time for you to get a new car.
