I think its time we admit that Videogame Journalist are Irrelevant

Its pretty safe to say that if we were going by the critics xbox is the better console. Their games review better. But stockholders don't care. Consumers don't care. Its all about the sales. Maybe its the resolution and maybe its the price but overall the scores are not translating into sales.

The reality is that Sony may blow Microsoft out this generation and still have the most pretty lower scoring games. If this happens what will that mean for IGN? I honestly hate those nerds anyway.

the field is oversaturated and scores often times differ significantly from one reviewer to the next. I think the industry feels they are more relevant than they are. but some do have loyal followings that need help in deciding what games they should play...

Its obvious that the higher sales are due to price difference. MS made a bad decision with coming out at $500. If MS didn't win me over last gen, no way would I have paid $500 for this X1 because PS4 is $100 cheaper and they damn near do the same exact things

GT6 just dropped, GT7 won't be here til 2017/18 probably if we go by polyphony's track record
2016 at the very earliest, but that would be a rushed game for polyphony
