bro I don't even mind if Nas wins this whole thing or he's considered the GOAT on this site, but just based on my criteria and what I prioritise, I think he falls slightly out of the top 10

if we ignore discography, he's surely in the top 10 closer to the top 5 realistically, on the basis of his pen game and mic skills

but then you have to consider equally skilled rappers with absolutely zero contention with discography like Pharoahe Monch or Ras Kass

so it's not as easy as that

There can definitely be a case to why Nas is top 5. His pen game is amazing and obviously Illmatic is one of the best hip-hop albums. But, even tho his discography is good I think there's other artists that have better ones like Ghost or DOOM.

It Was Written is Nas' 2nd best album but I'd say Ironman, SC and Fishscale are better
