To be fair to Short he was out before them and has had a hit more recently unless you can't that Glory song from Common. I like both of them better by far but Short's influence on the game is waaaaaaay underrated

While I'm a huge Nas fan he really doesn't have the impact Cool J did and still does on the game..


Scarface and Ice Cube also had more of an impact on the culture than Nas did/does... They've got stronger discographies too..

I can't throw biggie in there off the strength of two albums... Puffy can market him as GOAT until he dies but nah

Ghost as a solo artist?

His impact was felt more when he was a member of Wu. The same can be said for RZA and GZA

Rae had the stand out project which featured and also showcased Ghosts ability... Ghost has no project touching OB4CL.



Method Man would be the next solo member who's impact was felt more or equally as a solo artist...


Second half ghosts discog is also weak
