no we didn't get reparations. and treaties we're not just regarding land, but on that issue it was the tribes ceding land to the feds and reserving other lands for themselves. most people think it was the feds giving us land but no.

I'm in Canada. Natives here got fukked up too and no matter how liberal or conservative the cacs here seem to bond over shytting on natives openly. They were handled similarly up here except they have the worst lands today. Matter fact I'd say America might have actually done better by natives. Canada gave them the harshest coldest lands for their reservations.

i believe (not for sure) canada treats natives different than us does in that they are not a sovereign nation in canada like in us. so us duties in indian relations also have that factor which most people completely overlook when trying to compare natives to other us nationals. the poster i responded to earlier mentioned something about "tax free", well that has more to do with how government entities (like state ran business like lotteries) are generally exempt from paying fed taxes. any native individual has to pay income tax like the rest of earners in the country though and that goes for all US earners even illegal aliens (unless poverty level). i must have paid like 50k taxes last year, tax free where?
