So, the debt for MEDICAL CARE is still there, it's just "hidden" from credit reports? The problem isn't medical debt being on credit reports. ITS THAT THERE IS MEDICAL DEBT AT ALL!

Passing laws that get us closer to our goals still has value. It’s how republicans finally banned abortion. By baby steps.
At least those with med debt will be able to buy cars, homes, rent apartments, etc. All things made harder with med debt on our credit.

Getting rid of the debt would have freed people financially. Just because it's not on a report doesn't mean it's not still ruining their lives

You should seek out patients who had to file bankruptcy due to medical debts!
There are millions of people too sick to work to pay the bills and could never catch up. Bad credit effected their housing.
