the future of humanity will be the internet not space......and if mind-uploading becomes possible there won't even be the need for bodies anymore

I think in 50 years, most people on earth will be living inside computer simulated worlds like the Matrix. The "real" world will be largely uninhabited and will be reclaimed by nature.

There will be a few robots tasked with maintaining the computer servers and making sure they are protected. But other than that, there will be little need for any human to live outside the internet.

Why live in the real world as just a simple human when you can live in the Matrix as a God?
