My Mom’s schizophrenia expressed itself at 24. My brother’s at 23. My best friend at 32. I think my boy is more bipolar though

Is tough, sad and scary all at the same time. My boy threatened to kill me because he thought I was talking to his Mom. I never in my life brought her up, met her, or talked to her. Dude closed and locked the front door and pulled out his knife.

If your state has a Baker Act, it might come to that unfortunately. Call the police and tell them he’s dangerous to himself. They will take and commit him for 72 hours.

Most don’t get the self awareness until they damage the relationships they have and/or lose their job. I pray you or somebody will be that one to help him get help.

My cousin who is my day one, got that shyt. It’s sad because you can’t even be around him because at the end of the day he can get paranoid and try to hurt you. The sad part is that pushed everybody away from him and now he feel abandoned and lonely. He hit me with the “damn cuz you can’t stop by and holla at me” I tried but man that condition is a lot. Sad shyt and even scary shyt. Even when he seem normal he checking the windows and shyt, hearing shyt, swearing some car been following him for days. Having to constant be on guard against him because he might spazz out and any moment and accuse you of some shyt is draining. Maybe I can do better to try to be there for him more but it’s a lot frfr.

Unfortunately it ain’t much you can do, It’s sad because a black man with schizophrenia life is a cycle of jail and treatment centers more times than not.

Is this brand new behavior or things you’ve witnessed before in some shape or form? I had a close homie who went left out of the blue. Some mutuals we know think he smoked some laced weed messing with someone else we all know. It’s a sad thing. Thankfully he found a new normal but he’s 100% not the person I knew.

Weed psychosis and weed triggered schizophrenia is real. I knew atleast 5 people who were daily weed smokers that had some type of psychosis or schizo type breakdown.
The ones that was sudden people were saying it was laced weed but imho that's bullshyt.

Used to break me off some for good sleep and that shyt worked better than anything else outside of working 12 hour shifts
