I think once I hit a 75k salary, I'll be able to fall back and chill

Good thing I don't live in an expensive ass city :heh:

And no taxes out here :blessed:

Yeah I guess but you don't want a nice apartment with furniture? A nice car possibly? Take vacations throughout the year (at least 2-3)? Go to sporting events/concerts/shows? Eat at nice restaurants? Have cash on hand? Savings? Capital for other business ventures? I don't know, I guess it depends on your lifestyle and what you want but as a single man in his late 20's, 30s, I think you should be striving for more. No taxes tho you good on that and you can be comfortable on 75K. Just not enough for me though

I have a nice aparment .. nice furniture....big ass tv..game systems
I have a nice car
Me and my girl always try new restaurants
We don't take major vacations but we do travel within the US

None if that costs that much to be honest

75k is good to me...that's more than 2 racks every 2 weeks

I'm probably in a position to reach 100k by 32 to 35

But that's more stress, more taxes and more hours

I guess I'm lucky cause my debt is minimal

I've had and did all of that when my household income was 40k with 2 kids..... Sounds like you throw away a lot of money on bullshyt. No wonder immigrants can come to America fresh off the boat and amass wealth that lasts generations amongst there family making a tiny fraction of what you guys call comfortable.

75k ain't that much once u get to it :yeshrug:

Sadly its not bruh

America is expensive as fukk

If you got a house, car, bills, kids, saving for retirement, saving for college, strip clubs, designer belts, etc.

You dont have much left over

Define "eating well"? Everyone's lifestyle is different and everyone has different financial goals as well.

All bills paid
Emergency funds on deck
Able to shop or buy things I like.
I spent like every weekend at the beach last summer

You're right. It's all about each persons lifestyle

That's why it's wack when people come in here and say "75 ain't shyt"

It's a lot and the average household makes like 40k in the usa

I see but I haven't done any investing yet besides the normal Roth IRA and 401k

I get to invest in Stock via my company at a slight discount

And I got that pension :leon:

And life insurance :leon:
