i'm listenin' to supreme right now

this album really is hip hop in it's purest form

originality with the abstract lyrics and storytellin', flows, deliveries and style

raw beats and production

the funny skits and soulful themes

it transcends time too. it doesn't sound like 2000 or the late 90's (when it was recorded), it's timeless

this album could come out today and it would still be great because of all of it's originality

ghost won

at the end of the day, rza is the greatest hip hop producer of all time. influential, impactful and impeccable run

and the wu is the greatest hip hop group of all time, bar none. they forever changed hip hop unlike anyone else

Genius album. Also, people don't give credit enough to Ghostface for being the only MC ever to DRASTICALLY change his rhyme style on his sophomore album and make a certified classic.

yup

i would love to read a "the makin' of supreme clientele" article on how the album was made and came to be

i know that at some point ghost was over in africa and wrote some of the lyrics to songs there, right?
