I grow fonder of this album each and every year. Might actually be my fav ever now.

yeah, that's how it's been for me lately

i was a huge fan of this album when it first came out and i can remember me and my cousin listenin' to it religiously

then i started to listenin' gettin' back into the ironman album more and more and supreme because my 2nd favorite album by ghost

but in the last few months as i've listened to the album more for the 1st time in years, i've grown even more of an appreciation in time and space for it

ghost is the man for this album, rza is the abbott and wu-tang is truly the best

Your timing is impeccable, OP.

I was bumping Nutmeg last night thinking to myself: "man, I didn't even like this joint 13 years ago." I remember when an older cat around my way used to say Nutmeg was his shyt, and while I liked "One" and "Wu Banga 101", it took me a minute to see the charm in "Nutmeg" and "Cherchez La Ghost."

A lot of those Supreme joints were just ahead of their time. Which is weird considering the whole thing is one giant throwback to 80s breakbeats & 70s soul.

and yeah, it was the last great hip hop album.

Tony Starks make the narc's dogs bark
With the Benz parked
Up against the boulevard
Starks had the bone sparked
One cop tapped the window glass
Like a cymbal crash,
"What the fukk son! You trying to break glass?"
He flashed his badge,
"License and registrations"
At that moment
His fat partner started chasin'
Chicken heads they was racing wit' they hearts pacin'
For snatching gold
Trying' to dip into the god's basement
Our location
Lead steel shed spread
Cracked shorty head
Left sweetie there for dead
Ghetto poodles
Fingers sticky from cheese doodles
Starving' for a 50 cent bag of Oodles and Noodles
Neighborhood sick wit' it
Clinton 'bout to cut WIC
Maybe one ya'll rich rap nikkas need to politic
Reach for the sky
They throw bleach in your eye
Don't teach you why
You be keeping 'em high
Dipped like an Oreo cookie
In cold milk, bold silk
Gold-filled cap, Wu wear hat,
Low tilt
True Islamic
We speak verbal rhyme phonics
Why ya'll trying to change this hip hop to technotronics?

my favorite Ghost album and it's best album of the 00's w/ Blueprint, Diplomatic Immunity, Madvillian and Hell Hath No Fury behind it.

i remember this picture was in a Source mag back in the day, like 02/03.
Ghost and Kurupt shared the cover or had separate covers each.
