Your timing is impeccable, OP.

I was bumping Nutmeg last night thinking to myself: "man, I didn't even like this joint 13 years ago." I remember when an older cat around my way used to say Nutmeg was his shyt, and while I liked "One" and "Wu Banga 101", it took me a minute to see the charm in "Nutmeg" and "Cherchez La Ghost."

A lot of those Supreme joints were just ahead of their time. Which is weird considering the whole thing is one giant throwback to 80s breakbeats & 70s soul.

and yeah, it was the last great hip hop album.

I still think the album version of Ghost Deini is way better than the Ruthless b*stards version. More atmospheric, and more variation. It has that comic book, "Superman in his ice palace" feel.
