Didn't take advantage of his momentum. And I haven't been liking anything he's put out since he's been out honestly :manny:

Boosie never had that large of an audience, he's regional. "Free Boosie" was just some cool shyt to say. No one on the East Coast was anticipating a Boosie album. Now if Future got locked up......
Didn't he have his press conference in NY when he got out?

I don't even think his last album went gold. After all that free Boosie shyt everybody was hollering he still not bigger than he was when he went in from a relevancy perspective. This is what happens when your primary demographic is trap nikkas and ratchet bytches. They'll come to your shows but they won't cash out for an album. I thought he would take the rap game back to the streets and have an impact close to what Pac had when he got out.

Boosie is proof that "the streets" ain't what it used to be. This ain't the days of DMX running around and dropping classics randomly.

All that hype and the ratchet crowd proved to be disloyal as fukk.
truth be told, they aren't even rap fans

most can't even tell you shyt about their fav trap rappers or pick them out of a lineup

most of this shyt is......... ooooooooooooo that shyt is hard, who's that? oh i fukk with him

but actual fans of the music... actual fans of the artist.... these people are not

they are club rats and pill heads, vibing to whatever is hot... with no intentions on actually paying for music, supporting the artist, following that person's career and expecting great music

free boosie fans couldn't name 3 album cuts

Boosie ain't the rapper he used to be. He'll always be my nikka for the timeless shyt he's recorded, but now its kinda like watching your favorite athlete struggle to be the player he used to be. :mjcry:

This is it right here. But I knew he would never takeover once he had to sit.

reason I don't mind the future hype, i hope breh stackin up.

That's the thing though, Future may legit be reaching more people than we think, based on his recent rise in sales. Future has multiple songs on the radio as well, and one of the biggest co-signs in rap (Drake) latching on to him with that joint mixtape.
