Nah chill, Drag-On was always a much better lyricist and had a better flow overall than DMX. To me he is a much better MC.

DMX just had that energy that hip-hop needed after 2Pac and Biggie got murdered, 2 classic albums to debut in 98 definitely helped though.

at that those 2 Drag-On videos….I am aware that years after minor success in the late 90's, there is little reason for dude to be in some luxury penthouse, and the reality is a lot of these guys are hardly better off….but still, that apartment? i really dont think his debut is that bad. production was just a product of its time. and swizz is not a that great a producer but folks seemed to love all that other wack sh!t he was getting placements doin. rapping wasnt that bad either by 99/2000 ny rapper standards. maybe he was just being compared to x.
