Same. I still think it was a pretty amazing regional thing. Some of the producers, like Rick Rock, Traxamillion, Droop-E and some others I can't remember were putting out some crazy, solid beats. On the production side, elements of hyphy have seeped into other stuff. I guess some of DJ Mustard's stuff is the most obvious, but I hear some of hyphy in drill and some Southern hip-hop.
In the end, it was too regional. It's celebration of pill popping was too soon, and some of the people they pushed to the forefront, like Mistah F.A.B. and Keak the Sneak, were hard to take seriously, if you were an outsider.
