Whoa, boy was I wrong. Never fukked with it before as I thought it was lame (too corporate). Had to get with the program too see what was out there

- Paid someone on fiverr to do one of those batch uploads for recruiters in my state (spammed/added like 500+ new contacts).
- Changed my email address to a new one (solely using this for networking, not receiving spammy emails or newsletters).
- Got a “corporate” custom URL
- New phone # tied to my new LinkedIn (basically this # will only ring with job offers and post/thread updates for work shyt).
- Liked a bunch of posts from CEOs and companies I was interested in.

Results
All in 1 day (about 8 hours)
- Interview 1/3 with a team in London to vet me for a team in a diff country (they’re launching in a new country shortly) in 2 days.
-2 phone interviews from 2 diff companies tomorrow.
-6 emails from different HR contacts at various companies.

Fiver = A great way to finesse on LinkedIn cos there’s too many MFs to add to do that shyt manually.

Prob still got a lot to figure out when it comes to building real world tabgible relationships via LinkedIn

Nah, it’s a valuable employment networking site.

So many companies use it to recruit. The amount of emails and calls you get. :wow:
-LinkedAdder to mine emails
-Bulletproof server in China to mass mail $200 monthly
-or Cronjobs from a script that scrapes everyone with “recruiter/hr” in their profile.

Automate everything

I signed up, but hated the design layout so hardly used it. Then I started getting email reminders about people Ive dealt with on it making moves and I peeped it a bit closer. Its legit!
You can get a job anywhere if youre savvy enough.
It’s the savvy I ain’t have time for. I had to find a workaround.

Eg mass send email contact requests and have my auto response set to send people to my resume download link or profile page. I let them do the work for me

Word of advise: keep everything updated and increase your contacts. I say this with one thing in mind. LinkedIn is also a great way to put someone on or help the next brother out. I have friends that ask how to get into DSD or GSD constantly and I stay hooking them up with conversations and trying to get them interviews. Putting people on and helping people I care about succeed feels damn near as good as marching towards success myself

It is good for work, I've placed a couple of people off using Linkedin, it is great for those hard to fill jobs..

But it can make recruiters, lazy, very lazy, all they want to do is just link to people and not actually pick up the phone, unless they have to.
What city/state & industry do u recruit for

A recruiter contacted me about 3 years ago but I instead referred them to my wife and that is how she got her job ... and it was 2 weeks after she completed her degree :ehh:

Pay was high 50s and now she is low 60s :ehh:
When I first started using it I had a similar situation.. i wanted to turn them down politely. I had heard of people being paid a day rate so I said, “I want $600 per day”which was below their ballpark & they were cool with it (I finessed myself smh). LinkedIn is cool by me...
