The country of myself
Whoa, boy was I wrong. Never fukked with it before as I thought it was lame (too corporate). Had to get with the program too see what was out there

- Paid someone on fiverr to do one of those batch uploads for recruiters in my state (spammed/added like 500+ new contacts).
- Changed my email address to a new one (solely using this for networking, not receiving spammy emails or newsletters).
- Got a “corporate” custom URL
- New phone # tied to my new LinkedIn (basically this # will only ring with job offers and post/thread updates for work shyt).
- Liked a bunch of posts from CEOs and companies I was interested in.

Results
All in 1 day (about 8 hours)
- Interview 1/3 with a team in London to vet me for a team in a diff country (they’re launching in a new country shortly) in 2 days.
-2 phone interviews from 2 diff companies tomorrow.
-6 emails from different HR contacts at various companies.

Fiver = A great way to finesse on LinkedIn cos there’s too many MFs to add to do that shyt manually.

Prob still got a lot to figure out when it comes to building real world tabgible relationships via LinkedIn

Shoot I'm willing to pay the money to make results happen refer me to the person you used on fiver

Same here

@DirtyMoney

I work for a national non-profit that trains youth (18-25 years old) to get their A+ cert and find careers in IT, do you think this method would be effective in helping them find jobs??

Been on there for a minute and made some of the changes you have (new email, new custom URL, etc.). Have had only "sporadic" luck. Nothing solid though.

Because my funds are tight, can't pay anyone. Will look into the "liking" posts of CEO and companies tho.

Thanks, b.

Can’t get too specific. I work in Finance/IT/Fintech
Sounds like your career did the heavy lifting and you just needed visibility

Either way I agree with you but the caveat is you have to have something to offer.

I'm using LinkedIn Premium right now pretty heavy because I'm on the job hunt currently.
If you're currently in the job market or looking, it's an incredible resource. I'd recommend linking specific skills and software you leverage fairly heavily on your profile. That way, when recruiters are doing a search for "tableau, excel, etc"your profile will rise to the top.

I'm in Digital Marketing and would love to have someone put me up on Fiverr and it benefits though. :ohhh:
