I thought of a pretty cool way to up the ante for Survivor Series

I doubt they have any idea what they are doing for wrestlemania right now other than the Shaq match
although it's still considered one of the big four, i think most people would have survivor series as their least favorite of the bunch. it's a fun time but compared to mania, rumble and summerslam it's always hard to measure up.
don't get me wrong it USED to be piff. there was genuine novelty in seeing all these big time superstars team up because it didn't happen nearly as often and the whole elimination thing just really made it huge. now it's just par for the course (although the brand split has admittedly added some intrigue of it's own and given the ppv new meaning).
anyways here's my idea:
what if every survivor series elimination match could only have one winner, one sole survivor.
so per usual you take 2 teams and whoever is left standing at the end is the winner. only difference is if an entire team is eliminated and there are still members left from the other team, now they have to duke it out until only 1 is left. and that person would be crowned sole survivor.
overall i just think that raises the stakes for the entire match and makes it much more entertaining.

In theory, instead of someone running in and saving a pinfall for a teammate, why not just let him get pinned? That'd make for less work in the end

youre right. if everyone is against each other then that means if you're on the apron and your teammate is getting his ass whooped begging for a tag... you may be better off just not accepting his tag.
Your idea might work though with some tweaking.
Like say there's a prize for being on the winning team, then a prize for being sole survivor.
Like the Test thing in 2001..immunity from being fired? Lol

Came up with this exact idea on Sundays show
Just have the winning team get a match at a ppv between Survivor Series and RR. Where all 5 members have a 5 way match to determine who gets the 30th spot in the rumble. Just make all this shyt connected and it'll at least matter at each step on the way to mania. Or the winning team+1 get an elimination chamber match to determine the 30th spot. Or the winning team gets an MITB match. And the MITB winner can cash in on either brand. There are lots of things they could do aside from just bragging rights.
