I thought the Wu would have enough fans among super wealthy people who don't know what to do with their money that it would have gone for 8 figures.
Anyway, the One Upon a Time in Shaolin auction is just one of many things that shows Wu-Tang isn't really that big.
I think the Wu had a window to become much bigger around the time Wu-Tang Forever came out. They should have embraced the tour with Rage and the influx of more "alternative" fans. They could have ended up like a major rock band still packing stadiums well past their prime.
