Because their default position is always "Dems cave to Republicans no matter what because they don't want to do anything anyway." And while that may be true in some instances, here it makes zero sense. Manchin has said many times he wants an even bigger infrastructure bill than what Biden is proposing, and there's no reason to believe he would cut it to the 25% of what he wanted that TYT is saying, especially if we believe he holds all the cards.

People in here saying that Manchin provides the Dems cover to not do anything and say, "Well, we tried. " but it's actually the opposite. Manchin will do his little schtick about bipartisanship, then when the Republicans offer some bullshyt, he'll go, "Well, I tried to get Republican support, but they wouldn't budge. I guess we have to pass it through reconciliation now. " This is the exact same thing that happened with the stimulus.

People making the most money should pay the most in taxes not folks struggling like you and me. Republicans want corporations to pay less because of the lie that if corporations pay less taxes they create more jobs. But that's not true. When corporations don't pay taxes they simply give a bigger bag to CEOs and executives.
