He's only taken 18 sacks this year. I forgot what good pocket presence looked like...Sanchez/Geno panic button was the worst.

Imagine if before those 2 cum-rags we also had to endure an official Kellen Clemens era from '07-'08 :sadcam:... we'd have endured the WOAT from 3 different ethnicites in succession & the franchise woulda probably relocated by now :to:...

Sanchez and Geno didn't play in quick strike offenses where the ball is out of your hands in 3 seconds. He was coached by Mornhinweig not Gailey.

Second, Geno skil position receivers he had most games last year was Cumberland and Nelson.

Cumby/Nelson = Decker/Marshall :ld:

That's fine...but talent wise Fitzpatrick is just better than what we've had and its obvious. Your nitpicking is evident because you were so pro Geno that its clouded your opinion on the Jets. Fitzpatrick doesnt get discredited for having a good year because hes playing with Marshall and Decker. He's having a very good year in his own right regardless of who's on the outside catching passes. The TD throw to Decker yesterday couldnt have been thrown any better.

Geno's game actually reminds me a lot of Clemens'...2nd round picks, good arm- terrible awareness and pocket presence and slow releases.

And just like Clemens' career arc, is most likely a journeyman backup from here on in... at least he can make a good living off dat gig, right Kellen?

I don't think he is.

Here's the deal. You downplay facts as nitpicking.
It's not nitpicking to say Fitz too would have struggled if Cumby and Nelson were penciled I the line up most weeks. The fact that I say Geno had to throw them:
@Trip:"you're not picking!!"

It's not nitpicking that Gailey calls a much cleaner and quicker offense than Marty:

But your response is:

"You're nitpicking."
If I had a penchant for disregarding context and differences, maybe I'd enjoy living in your world of simplicity and stupidity. But I don't.

I see things that you really disregard because you don't have the intellect to argue or dispel. So the key for you is to frame things as "nitpicking" and other dismissive responses rather than challenging them.
It's your steez and likely your follow up response to my point

There's nothing to challenge with regards to Geno Smith or Mark Sanchez. They are backups.

You now want to act as if Fitz moving to starter had nothing to do with IK punch.

He too was a backup coming into this season until divine intervention came into play.

Is this the part where you ask me to break up the continuity Fitz has developed with this receiving core to play Geno or hide behind Bowles not making a change for the same reason proves something?

For all of your pointing at Fitz TD to decker yesterday you selectively ignore the other 3tds
He missed.

Be real here...you can't touch
My counterpoint because you're not built enough to dispel my points

The I in Team
Is it the great passing of Fitz or the incredible catching of Marshall/Decker?:jbhmm:

It's fair to say both, even tho a few missed throws were surefire touchdowns. Honestly I don't give a fukk either way cuz we winning through skill and good fortune and that's what matters the most. It's been a long time since we were in a position like this.

Exactly.

We are winning and one would be foolish to ask the team break it up. But I'm not the one willingly turning off my brain to notice the obvious differences

I'm primarily a Basketball poster and late on the Jets posting but from what I've seen, @NYC Rebel has a lot of my respect and has awed me on numerous occasions when it comes to football posting.

I actually have really liked Fitz' quick offense play and it seems when Ivory is ON, Fitz is extremely good enough to complement a ground and Pound focused offense.

My question Rebel, what would Fitz have to show you moving forward that would earn your respect, breh?
