We didn't have a legitimate chance at signing Peyton Manning.

Secondly, who is 5-2 right now, fukker? Not the Broncos.

:umad:

This...

Peyton was never coming unless he was willing to take a 70% paycut. Denver gave dude a deal he would be retarded to pass up. Even though he said money was no object , no rational person would take at most 9 mil from san fran as opposed to nearly 20 mil from denver, it just wasnt happening.

:heh:
you my dude but :childplease: that ravens squad held three teams in playoffs to 7 points or under..

the ONLY reason was trent dilfer made throws ? :laff:

wake up breh. their d and to lesser extent run game won them games
not fukking trent dlifer :heh:

I'm not insinuating that it wasn't cause of the defense, but Dilfer had to connect some passes together. It ain't how many attempts he had, but when they called pass plays in the Super Bowl for the most part he was on target and he wasn't scared to throw. We went 6 or 7 quarters without a TD. That's just plain terrible.

In that 4th quarter last night the play calling looked like they lost faith in Alex a bit. We can't keep riding Gore like we have he's gonna breakdown. He was fukking GASSED last night and they just kept forcing him back in off the sidelines.....maybe this is the reason they stockpiled so many backs in the offseason.

I dont disagree with you about alex.

but trent dilfer made no difference on that team. you put in alex on that team and theyd win it all just as easily.

what would trent dilfer be afraid of ? he had arguably the most dominant defense behind him and a rushing attack that was relentless.
he could dance around with the ball and stick it into his ass when he wasnt handing it off and the ravens would STILL win

youd seriously need a terrible qb to fukk up in that situation, like kyle boller or something.

It's a good ass fiasco to have.

A QB who rates in the to 10 in passer rating or a QB who looks to be a young star on the rise with a great arm and accuracy who can run like the wind.

We`ll take it.

I agree. But the other "fiasco" you paid attention to was forced as hell.

Nah, I really thought it wasn't gonna work out and Russel wasn't gonna do what he is doing.

Forced isn't really the word. It was more of wishful thinking. fukk Seattle

You didn't think it was going to work out. You should have stuck to what you said afterwards....wishful thinking.

That's what everyone on the board was basically telling you while you denied it.

Don't really care what everyone on this board says though.

75% of them are fools who don't know their ass from their elbow.
