You only think this because like a lot of muh'fukkas in this thread, you're incapable of using any sort of critical thinking. It's partly the reason why you've stopped trying to address my argument (well, to be fair, you never really did from the beginning), and are now just regurgitating the same damn line to get daps/attention.

If you don't get it by now, then you were never meant to get it.

:manny:

you made a whole thread bashing Pop as a coach, you're saying he's being left behind....to be able to say that then you must know more about basketball than Pop, since he's missing that key info that you seem to have:mjlol:

I've already addressed your dumb takes in this thread. Funny enough the Finals where the Warriors shot the most threes they lost that series:mjlol:

But they shot so many threes, why would they need to beg KD to come join them?:mjlol:

I just saw you blame everyone but Dejounte. He’s not good enough to build an entire team around him lol.
His point was that if you put dude in a spacing offense, it’d maximize his game, not that you build a spacing offense around him :francis:

The Spurs can't keep continuing on with this offense with LMA and DeRozan operating in the same spaces, all inside the arc. All the lineups they were in tonight were suffocated by the Lakers' defense because there was no spacing. I still can't believe we've got cats on this board who can't see it.

Their bench is literally the only reason why they're ever able to generate any offensive momentum, and it's because they have proper spacing.

Pop's has gotta switch shyt up.

If your team show any discipline u have a great chance of stopping the Spurs. They basic af. If Demar is in fukk trying mode. This team is food
They're even less than basic. The Spurs starting offense has a 93 offensive rating. That's how horrific their spacing is.

:picard:

That is last in the entire league (qualifying minutes for starting lineups). Even the Hornets starting lineup has a better offensive rating with Rozier, Bacon, Bridges, Washington and Zeller. Almost every single starting lineup has an offensive rating north of 100 (quite a few teams are 113+). And again, they're starting offense is dead-last in spacing heat maps as well, even by a greater margin than last season (albeit on a smaller sample size).

This isn't winning basketball, no matter how many of these muh'fukkas wanna tell it.

I'm glad you're finally starting to come around, even if it isn't through what I've said.

:lolbron:

@Remote @FAH1223 y'all can't keep continuing to play like this. Y'all basically are living and dying by what your bench gives you.

I’m a Wizards fan :hubie:

we got Bertrans jacking those 3s :leon:

Spurs should start White and Murray and Rudy

unleash Lonnie Walker

He's actually regressed since going to SA.

:picard:

At least the Raptors were trying to get him to extend his range for the betterment of the offense; now he's simply shrinking the floor and anyone in the lineup with him is getting pulled into the abyss.

Pop's greatest mistake was being vindictive/arrogant and not trading Kawhi to the Lakers. He woulda had Ingram, Ball and probably Kuzma fukking beasting.

Instead, he forced them to take that terrible Derozan contract and limit the team's potential.

Reports claim the spurs actually did try to trade him to the Lakers but "asked for too much" :yeshrug:

I think ...I dont know what the motivations are...but I think the Spurs are limiting their ceiling.

Playing some of the younger guys and moving to a better spacing offense is riskier than playing a slower, ISO-style midrange offense.

It is hard to know what those perimeter guys will give you. But that's on the Spurs because...you don't know until you try.

On the other hand you know exactly what you're getting with LMA and Demar.

I suspect that they're loath to make any changes because they don't want to see Pop end his career coaching a 35 win team.

In my view, there is a ton of potential going untapped with this roster.

Last December in this very thread I made a comment about how I would rather have Malcolm Brogdon over DeRozan. And well, everyone is seeing how Malcolm is killing it in Indiana. Demar is the same old guy...
