You have never seen artists guests host shows on MTV and VH1? That nikka has probably had a video or two on MTV2 or Jams, but not some shyt where he's getting actual publicity. nikka can't even get a guest spot on Ridiculousness and I've seen retarded people get guest spots on there.

Most people moved on from August Alsina last year. I think y'all nikkas just caught on to him late cause literally NO ONE I know talks about this nikka anymore and his shyt does not play on the radio anymore .

"I Luv This Sh*t" was released over a year ago (wikipedia says February of 2013) and y'all nikkas still talkin' about it like it's new shyt! "It's hot! Who are y'all hangin' around that's not bumpin' this?!" Everyone, cause that shyt is old as hell and his distributor/label just decided to release this shyt more than a year later with practically 0 promo after they realized that the buzz would never come.

His single peaked Billboard 100 at 48 and couldn't even break top 10 on the R&B charts. I think y'all are over estimating how popular he really is.
