To be fair tho when brady has a real deep threat he throws the deep ball a lot. I remember when the knocm on him was he couldnt throw the deep ball...until Randy moss came and destroyed that myth

To put this in perspective, 3 years ago they trotted out JENNINGS-NELSON-COBB-JONES-DRIVER with FINLEY at TE.

Finley hasn't been replaced and Adams hasn't stepped up to replace a Jennings/Driver... and we just got Jones back...

I think the alarming thing is the the fact we absolutely refuse to run the short quick hitters. I watched OAK and DEN today have zero issues getting separation against top ranked defenses. Mostly from quick hitting routes and the use of the middle of the field. I honestly dont know how many times they replayed the play and Aaron was on 7 step drops with receivers running 15 yard routes. I dont think I saw a single slant.
