I tried snapper yesterday and I’m extremely disappointed

snapper is my favorite. not the best fish but very versatile. grill, saute, baked, fried. depends on freshness and the cook. and yeah island style can def do it justice

When I was in Florida I used to get red snapper for the low and it was fresh as hell and caught that day. You just pull up to one of the people selling fish and they going back and forth catch the shyt all day. And they will fillet that shyt up for you. I didn’t even appreciate how playa it was until I came to Atlanta and the fish was more expensive and didn’t taste fresh like that. Then I realized GA landlocked

Edit: Atlanta don’t got good seafood. Savannah does though

Just came in here to say the best fish I ever ate was when i was in DR. Nothing taste better than fresh fish from the Caribbean, I barely eat fish in the states anymore after that

Felt that way when I tried Salmon. The differences in fish taste seem very subtle.
