Without dissecting what are probably valid points bc people are deluded about their value out here, he is a homosexual/bi man who has created a child in hetero business. It’s odd that people cling to his words when the Black community has pretty clear views on homosexuality beyond its “right” or “wrongness.” The messenger matters. This guy is an image consultant that talks to wealthy men and women to help them achieve the brand that they want. Hes not a relationship coach, he's really more of an expert on aesthetics. It doesn't look good for a man making 6 figures and maintaining his appearance to be paired up with a partner who doesn't put on the same effort. It doesn't look good for a man who is acquiring assets to suddenly take on the co parent role to a dysfunctional single parent household. It doesn't look good for a man making a lot of money at a high pressure job to have his partner disrespecting him in public and arguing with him over dumb shyt because she's bored. It's not a good look.

Would I trust a white economist to talk about economics in the US and how black people are disproportionately affected by the shrinking value of the dollar? Yes. I'm not going to say : yeah but you're white i don't give a shyt what you have to say about the discipline you've studied as it relates to black people. By that logic white people shouldn't be taught by black teachers or see black counselors because we don't have the white experience. Facts are still facts regardless of who is saying them. I think Joe Biden is a white supremacist but him saying "white supremacy is a problem in America" isn't just his opinion, its a fact we can see for ourselves.

Supposing Kevin samuels is a gay as hell, is he wrong about men saying they can't find women? Is it all in his head that women who call him are holding men up to a standard they don't hold themselves to? Is him being a homosexual now proof that he's wrong and we're all good in the black community and there aren't any men choosing to date outside the race at uncomfortable levels?

I don't care about who the messenger is, I care about the context and the message. We have a serious problem with men giving up on black women or refusing to date anyone and choosing to be hermits. The numbers are out there showing that men of all races are becoming increasingly frustrated with dating, refusing to get married, and expressing no interest in starting families. Its a conversation that needs to happen regardless of who is talking about it.
