the word is COMPLETELY out my vocab now. Its become cringe-worthy even when i have to read "nikka" here. The "term of endearment" excuse is laughable at this point. I always acknowledge other black men as "my brutha". Would be cool if that word disappeared from our vocab. Has nothing to do with other races. I just feel like the word is degrading to ourselves.

But my experience the other day while out n about had me feeling heated about n!ggas saying it in front of cacs, though.
Every time they said it, i would cut my eye over at the cacs and see them kinda smirking/stifling laughs and sh!t. They looked uncomfortable but thy looked like they were enjoying it, if that makes any sense.
They had this look on their faces and in their body language that said "look at these dumbasses degrading themselves with the very insult that we've created to use against them."

As a grown man you shouldn't be communicating in a vulgar, disrespectful language in public anyway regardless of being around cacs or what words you choose to use.
There's older black people, people with their kids, etc...that may take offense to what you're saying. Carrying yourself in a respectful manner in public is something a person should be doing anyway if you use the word nikka or not.
