Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
can you share this article?

can you expound on this, not sure what you mean here

With ChatGPT use becoming more and more common it is an inevitability it will find its way into the recruitment process. As hiring managers, recruiters and business owners it is our responsibility to be able to spot unauthentic documents to ensure a fair and balanced process for all.

As a large language model, ChatGPT is trained to generate human-like text, including CVs. While it's possible for ChatGPT to create a convincing profile, there are a few key things to look for to spot a resume that's been written by an AI model.

Lack of specificity: One of the most notable features of a ChatGPT-generated resume is a lack of specificity. While the lanuage may be polished and professional-sounding, the details may be vague or generalised. For example, the CV may include phrases like "strong communication skills" or "proven track record of success" without providing specific examples to support these claims.

Unusual formatting: While there's no definitive format for a, AI-generated resumes may have an unusual layout or structure. This can be because the model has been trained on a specific set of templates, or because it's programmed to experiment with different layouts to see what works best. For example, the CV may include an unusual font or colour scheme, or use an unconventional organisation of sections.

Repetitive phrasing: Another sign of an AI-generated profile is repetitive phrasing. Because AI models work by identifying patterns in language, they may use the same phrases or sentence structures multiple times throughout the text. This can make the document sound robotic or formulaic.

Generic language: AI-generated documents may also use generic language that could apply to anyone in a particular field. For example, a resume for a software developer might include phrases like "experience with coding languages" or "proficient in software development." While these statements may be true, they don't provide any specific information about the candidate's skills or experience.

Lack of human touch: Finally, AI-generated CVs may lack a human touch. While the language may be polished and professional, it may not have the personal touch that a human writer would bring to the document.

@CashmereThoughts

This is a word processor. Put the job description in there and look at the relevant words and make sure your resume matches or somewhat matches.

If the word “ability” appears 3 times in the job description just make sure it appears 3 times in the resume.
