It's not that people are deflecting. I believe in personal responsibility, but people always bring up Black on Black crime when we are talking about police brutality or white supremacy. Its annoying because we always talk about Black on Black crime. We have to talk about some of the reasons crime is happening in our communities and white supremacy does play a major role in our communities being messed up.

..and conversely ppl always bring up white supremacy or police brutality when talking about black on black crime.

Black on black crime shouldn't be such a hard topic to talk about that makes ppl get all defensive and backed away.

It should be something to discuss....and ALL factors should be discussed. not just one side or the other.
