10.1% of all white non-Hispanic persons
12.0% of all Asian persons
23.6% of all Hispanic persons (of any race)
26.2% of all black persons.

As we can see here, Black people have a disproportionately higher poverty rate. That is plain to see in stats and just looking around the country.
Anyone saying that its not true is a retard.

The only problem I have is when ppl just assume that white ppl can't be poor either, or that there aren't any poor whites like @Mr swag alluded to.

About 16.3% of Americans or 53,000,000 people are Black only or Black in combination with another race as of 2014 estimates

which equals to about 13 Million blacks living in poverty.....that is crazy.

About 63% of Americans or 202,000,000 are White non-Hispanic.

Which is over 20 million whites living in poverty..which is equally as crazy.
