Ehhh....I look at I Used To Love H.E.R. like I do Juicy on Ready To Die. You might have another song you'd rather listen to on there, but the actual track is flawless in it's execution and what he wanted to convey was conveyed. I always listen to Nuttin To Do when I do listen to that album, but I wouldn't necessarily say it, or any other track on there is better. I Used To Love H.E.R. is just TOO dope.

Used to Love HER is a great song, I can't take anything away from it.

BUT...

I've always found it funny how he's in 1994 talkin' about how hip-hop ain't how it used to be and has been ruined nshyt... it's become more ironic as the years have gone by. In '94, it struck a chord cause so many people from the previous era would be like 'yo he's right, hip-hop should go back to the essence' and all that... and now, just looking a list of everything that dropped in '94, it's like "damn, he didn't know how bad it was gonna get" :heh:

I'd say it's my 3rd fav song on the album... after Communism and then Nuthin To Do... Thisisme is slick too... Resurrection is dope, but the remixes are waaaay better than the one on the album, so that kinda brings it down for me. Rock with In My Own World and Orange Pineapple Juice too.

Anybody who doesn't consider Resurrection a bonafide classic can eat a dikk. One of the very greatest albums of all time. This is actually my favorite joint up there.

But yeah, I Used to Love H.E.R. isn't even one of the best songs up there. It's a great concept and a lot of people relate to it, but the listenability just isn't that great compared to most of the album.
