How did you remove the horse.

Did you need equipment?

We used a backhoe. Had to use the backhoe for removing a cow too. I wasn’t around for the cow episode, however, legend had it that the cow exploded the moment it was lifted off the ground because it was bloated so badly all the pressure got released :scusthov:

The horse wasn’t bad because it wasn’t grotesque. And the smell wasn’t bad because it had only been sitting out for about an hour or so. Loaded him into one of the small dump trucks that we had and took him to the landfill. :manny:

You an artist? Should have taken photos. One of my favorite professors in college used to paint road kill. Had an entire series of paintings about just dead deer. He loved me after I aced one of his assignments by making a collage juxtaposing dead and macarbe shyt in places they shouldn't be like home interior magazine scans lol

In the winter time I didn’t give a f*ck I went raw dog bare face n all. But in the summer time… oh deer summer:whew: … things change in the summer… whole face be wrapped up in towels looking like a taliban + shades on and all you could see was my hair.

Summer time is just a whole different animal :troll:

And u ever come across any that were still alive?

I saw a few that I thought were alive because they were moving. One time was when I got sent out to get a deer. I was already dreading it because it was the middle of fkng summer and the dumbass caller said on the voicemail “aNd iTs bEen siTtiNg tHerE fOr oVer a wEek” smh like why tf are you JUST now telling us dumb b*tch do you know how bad it’s rotted and stinking now :what:?… so basically I already knew it was going to be bad. And at that point all you can do is pray that the damn thing is at least intact.

Well I got neither. I got out there and could smell it before I even bent the fkng corner :snoop: pulled up on him and it was only half a fkng corpse and strewn out :snoop: just all the worst sh*t you didnt want to deal with when you got a deer call.

But wtf I’ve done this before right? So I just manned up like you had to do every time, wrapped my head up, grabbed some gloves, and hopped out. I get around the back of my truck where the deer is and all of a sudden a fkng possum runs out. I almost blew chunks right into my fkng towel breh. And I don’t typically lose my stomach and vomit, no matter how bad it is. But like I said in the OP, there was a few times where I came real close to just being like no, nah, nope, I can’t do this sh*t man. This was definitely one of them times.

When the little possum f*cker crawled out of the deer it had the nerve to stop like 20ft away and turn around just stare at me like :martin: the rest of the time I was there.

I had possums run out of carcasses on me twice and there is nothing more disgusting to see in this world :hhh:

Did karate come in handy when picking up road kill?

This was wayyy before I started martial arts. I was a young man working for that town. Would probably be literally retiring soon, had I stayed there. Them city workers eat good after retirement. But I’m glad I didn’t though, as my current career is far my suitable to my current financial and physical tastes: lazy + well paid, and I’m still looking at a good retirement :ehh:
