The Heat's defense has me concerned, esp with how they trap pick and roll and leave shooters wide open

Portland would expose that cause they move the ball

Heat can score on them, LeBron would feast

For the Heat's weakness against bigs, they always play good enough defense and great enough offense to win in the series.

Portland moves the ball well but the a Heat are great at disrupting the flow, picking off weak entry passes, and causing turnovers. Not only that but the Heat have good defensive depth even on their bench and can make Portland's garbage bench suffer.

Portland isn't that good. THey won't get last clips, Memphis, or OKC. They just got their ideal matchup in Houston. They won't get as many easy looks against Team with a real defensive strategy. How many plays off inbound with less than 3 seconds have they come off released for a wide open jumper. Jeremy Lin won't be on every team another in the postseason to giftwrap them turnovers in the final minutes. LMA averaging over 30 against Houston. He ain't put them type of numbers up against real defensive competition. They won't have kevin Mchale sitting 15 feet away from their bench again. Ibaka. Plus we don't have anybody that can make LMA work on the on the defensive end. Portland ain't gettin nowhere near a finals. They just got a better matchup than most anticipated.", including me.

Why y'all make everything individual. Team defense is the issue for Houston. And Miami is one of the best defensive units in the league. Everybody on the floor is cohesive defensive and sprinting on rotations. Houston is late on every rotation, is horrible on the weak side, and unaware on help defense

It's like u nigguh don't watch basketball. Anybody who understands the game can see all the lack of fundamentals Houston has in executing a defensive strategy. We can't even run a zone property.


But I digress. You'll see next round if Portland is lucky Enuff to finish us off.
