Rubio isn't a max player, but with the way the market is set right now I wouldn't be surprised if he at least got close to it. His agent will probably try to drive the price up and demand a max to get him out of Minnesota, think back to the draft Rubio wanted to play in a big market from the beginning.

Rubio is one of those underrated-overrated players.

He is kind of underrated by people who look at stats only. He has an impact on the game and is a really good defender.

But if anyone offers him max money, they overrated the hell out of him.
