Yeah, I usually get Ethio/Somali, especially if I am out with another East Afri people.

LOL. By being so far to the East, unlike Nigerians/Ghanaians who mix and move around more often in Africa, they tend to stay with each other and mingle amongst themselves.

I always joke with her and other East Afri....like...'you can walk in a Starbucks and there could be plenty of seats and space...y'all literally in the corner on top of each other and in each others laps! LOL! She like 'yeah, thats our culture' lol

You've probably been hanging out with the fob crowds, most East Africans who were born in the west arent really that xenophobic. Anyway Ethiopian people didn't interact with the rest of East Africa because we were used of the ethio highlands and we don't have immunity to tropical diseases like most Africans who lived in the tropics. So everytime an ethio or a habesha tried to leave the ethio highlands, we would just die as a result of tropical diseases the average non Horner East African was immune to. So that's why you don't see much influence of Ethiopian civilisation in the rest of East or Central Africa. Same reason why cacs found it difficult to colonise other parts of Africa besides the temperate zones of South Africa untill they discovered antibodies and antibiotics.
