If you think a job is going to stop your creativity then you've already lost. My 9-5 is in the creative field and I still view it as a means to an end to support my own endeavors creativily - end of story. Only amateurs wait until they feel inspired or motivated, what you should be thinking about is being on a schedule and creating. And if you're on a schedule then a job won't cut into your wave.

And guess what it takes to get there. As sad as it is, money and connections are a bigger part than the art itself. I know your opposed to it, but with some dough you would have money to meet people, pay your way into an art showing etc etc

I had pieces in galleries when I was 17. Doing solo shows when I was 19 my rep is long. Your problem is you think you're owed something. You ain't guaranteed shyt but empty pockets (which from your past post I can tell your used to). You think this shyt is a competition when it isn't. You've been blessed with a responsibility. Grow up take that shyt serious and if you're really willing to give your all, open your ears and heart to the PROCESS and maybe then you'll have a chance to grow.
