It appears as though there is a coordinated endeavor by the remaining members of the Yankees to facilitate consecutive MVP awards for Judge through their abysmal performance (.225/.288/.391) in his absence.

While, I'm sure, Aaron undoubtedly appreciates the well-intentioned gesture, his inclination leans towards joining a playoff-bound team that doesn't solely rely on his individual contributions for success.

Hicks has 29 hits ALL SEASON - and 16 hits in 16 games with B-More. May 31st was his first game.

JD (6 hits since 6/2), GS (5 since 6/2), AR (4 hits since 6/2), DJL (7 hits since 5/31): 22 hits

It's still pathetic, but yeah...
