Interesting hire.
Ausmus was one of the most respected catchers when he played.
Hopefully he has an impact on the pitching staff and how they call games. I think the Yankees have had good pitching talent over the last few years, but they've probably been utilized poorly. If Ausmus can get the most out of Carlos Rodon, Michael King and others, it will go a long way.

Yankees claimed Oscar Gonzalez off waivers from the Guardians.
I don't know what happened to him last year but apparently the Guardians tried to pass him through waivers to outright him to AAA and the Yankees claimed him.
Still just 25. Definitely worth a flier as a 4th OF.
