Don't say you don't have the time, you just aren't about the hustle.
did you read the latter part of the sentence? I said I'm not going to chase money while I half ass in school.

considering the circumstances i'd say extend your social circle to someone with a car who isn't leaving for the holidays. you have about 2 months.

you might have to do what @Poitier said :snoop:and get a guy. free rides.

good luck whatever you decide.

this :manny: when I was making like $10 an hour my fiance got me a new car and pays the car note :mjpls:

even though I had a car, I didn't trust that thing. :wtb:

Yo you can't even get a loan without some type of down payment and that type of credit score.:childplease:

How you gonna buy a car without at least a cool G in the bank or under your mattress? Lets say you magically get approved for a loan with NO down payment (doesn't happen) how you gonna pay for the car taxes? registration? insurance? You need savings for all that shyt.

My advice: FIND a way to save up money, delete the idea from your head of getting a loan and buy a beater for like 2k

You can do both.

My main point, though, is that there thousands of ways to make money, and a lot of them don't involve hard work or aren't as time consuming as you apparently believe they are. Just take some time, figure out ways that you can make money that wouldn't keep you from your schoolwork, and cook.

Flip a pack.

Get a car under 5,000 actually you should get one around 3000. You would be better off getting a car from someone you know. Get a car under 100,000 if possible. An old person selling there car is the best. Chances are it has barely been driven.

ok so I have a credit score of 671...I know :mjcry:
I make about 400/week after taxes.
I have no savings so I will have to get a loan.
Thing is idk which route to go.
Should I buy a car from a private seller and get a loan through my bank
or head to the dealership and finance it through there. Which one would be better for me?

Shop for the best APR....I just bought a car this time last year and I got a 1.8 APR from the Credit Union. But my credit is god-like tho :obama:

They say don't buy a car that's more than a week's worth a pay....but you can get a decent care for less than $400/monthly. I'd say check out Hondas, and Altimas. I looked at Altimas myself but they are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo common on the road that I ended up getting a Maxima instead.

If you're going to take out a loan go to the dealer, you're protected by lemon laws if you buy from a dealer, if you buy from a private seller you have to know your shyt when it comes to cars IMO cause most states do not protect private buyers if the car turns out to be shyt.

You can get 08-10 certified Civics for around $11,000, which should be about $250 a month.

a certified civic would be a lick, cuz it would be under warranty for the drivetrain til 100K miles. which is good unless the car already has a gang of miles on it. civic has great gas mileage and should be able to run forever given you take care of it.

I wouldn't even consider getting a new car right now.

my car is an acura and will be 10 years old next year, and drives just fine with 125K miles on it. I haven't had any major issues, and I've stuck the the maintenece schedule to the T tho.

She would be better off paying cash and doing regular maintenance and needed fix ups. That way she can have lower insurance (liability) and just pay for gas. Save herself about $300 plus a month.

Find cars on craigslist or check dealerships for trade ins. Alot of dealers have cars that are too old to finance and want to make a quick sale to get it off the lot. Get a trusted mechanic to check it out with you for assurance that its not a clunjee
