Always wanted to go but it's pricey.
I really like Hawaii. It has everything you want for a tropical vacation....exotic ethnic foods, nice beaches(Waikiki is crowded but secluded beaches are a short drive away), pretty decent snorkeling, good nightlife, boppin' tourists from all over the world, crazy hiking trails..
A lot of things are expensive, but you can eat cheap if you eat like the locals(steak plates, "drive in's, korean/japanese/Chinese spots)...and sleep for cheap if you stay in a hostel.

I've been to the big island and had a blast. Clubs were cool, I obviously chilled on the beach, food was off the chain and I saw a lot of fine bytches

its beautiful breh, all the conveniences of being in the USA, but has an international tropical feel. using your own phones 4G and texting without worrying about international charges while feeling abroad

Extremely beautiful. You will enjoy it immensely. Be sure to bring plenty of dollars though, because it's far from cheap.
