How many people in a non-console war related Internet conversation online have you heard discuss the difference between 900p and 1080p? I've never heard anybody not on an online message forum discuss this and even when it is discussed it's not a real conversation it's somebody trolling or a flame war.

I have to agree. I absolutely love my X1...

however, even though I really probably can't see the difference, something erks me about Microsoft not completely putting "FOOT TO NECK" on Sony by taking a greater loss & making the superior console specs wise.

Do they not know at this point that specs, in itself, is a PR campaign? Why allow Sony to get an upper hand, an upper hand that shows itself when each new article that says PS4-1080P & X1-900P...]

shyt reeks of collusion. No way Sony should have a strong hold at this point in the game, but they do.

X1 features are convenient, but you could very well watch all that stuff without it and be fine.

The real problem is that Xbox One is stuck with the power it currently has and even if the developers optimize the graphics and other tech down the line it will still be playing catch up to the PS4....When the games start dropping and people start seeing and feeling the true distance between the two that's when Xbox will suffer. I think a lot of this right now is former Xbox 360 owners PISSED at Microsoft. (myself included). I got a PS4 and I don't see myself going back to Microsoft. I cancelled my Live account and got a PSN account and every month I get a new game...shyt sometimes two. Those discounts my nikka.....WOOOOO. I just got that new Tomb Raider for 17 bucks. I want Microsoft to get back on track but these resolution wars is really about the flawed strategy of Microsoft from the very beginning. shyt ain't gonna change. They made an entertainment center when they should have been making a VIDEO GAME CONSOLE.

Oh well. fukk'em. That Box will be 300 bucks with halo remastered by Christmas and it will still get outsold. I hope Nintendo comes in takes Microsoft's number two spot.

The Xbox was more powerful than the PS2. Nobody really cared. Hell so was the Gamecube. Nobody cared. Microsoft is in the predicament they're in because we're still mostly at the enthusiast stage of the market and the more casuals buyers haven't gotten in yet. Microsoft pissed off many of the enthusiast buyers with that whole DRM fiasco and again with a packed in Kinect for $100 more. The main buyers on the marketplace have been put off to Microsoft so they aren't selling. It doesn't have much to do with 900p vs 1080p.

They could turn this thing around. They probably won't but really it just takes one hot game to catch fire to change everything. Wii Sports for example fukked up the entire last generation.
