Have you considered surrounding neighborhoods like North Miami, Miami Shores, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Miami Lakes, Miami Gardens (I used to live there)? A nice one bedroom apartment in a Miami usually start's at $800.

Do you have employment/income lined up?

Aventura is just as expensive as living in Miami Beach. Ives Diary is good, County line is good as well.

These are one of the things that kind of irritate me. When I left South Florida back in July, first I moved to Philly. Everybody like "You'd leave the city of badd hoes, the city where they hold South Beach?" Only thing good about Miami is the damn whether :stopitslime: the job market sucks, housing sucks, the people sucks. All that South Beach drooling gets boring when you had in your backyard all your life.
I was born in Parkway (now Jackson North) in North Miami Beach, lived in North Miami, Miami Gardens, Opa-Locka, back to North Miami then North Miami Beach all before 14. My mom moved to Orlando after that :wow: graduated at 16 and moved back to North Miami Beach with my grandma. Got married at 18, moved to North Miami then to Ives Diary. Got the job with TSA at Ft. Lauderdale airport so I moved to Sunrise then took a transfer to Philadelphia. Hate it there. Lasted 3 months and moved to ATL. been here now 2 months and 6 days. Looks good so far :francis:

South Florida is a vacation spot, not a living one.

If you a buster and bit a hustler didn't even think about coming to l.a. I'm making 6 figures and still can't buy a respectable house that's not in the Damn hood.

Yea I was blazed and looking at dj Khaleds snapchat :heh: In his backyard you can see the ocean and the backdrop of downtown. That made me want to live there

I exaggerated with the homes I posted, but even if you live in those cities with decenct income you have access to that weather and those views whenever you want

Hey how is Philly? I'm thinking of coming there for my masters. I know that it may be the Northeast area or Houston. Yeah I have to leave SFL. i hate the area and the discrimination against black people.

South Florida is a living spot if you have money. I make 200K a year in Atlanta and have a shytload of money saved up. I plan on moving to Miami and getting a fly condo right on south beach.

Discrimination is everywhere, hun. Some place just be worse than others.. Philly was crap to me. Maybe it's because I lived in Florida all my life, I liked the space of everything. In Philly, everything is closed in. Row houses, street parking, cramped everything. It made me claustrophobic when I'm not even claustrophobic.

:ohhh: kind of job you do? I know I took about a $700 cut out of my salary when I transferred to ATL airport because locality is lower here and still I'm only breaking like $40k.

Ugh I hate crowded place. They are trying to make downtown Miami extra crowded. Would you say that the discrimination in Philly is of the chain crazy?

No. But their personality is completely different like they're more upfront and confrontational. And there's ALOT of Muslims. I never had an issue with anyone religion but I guess in my mind, only Christians and Jews exist because that's all Miami has but it did freak me out some with there being so many Muslims..

LMAO! Yes there are A LOT of Muslims there. I have a faniky friend who lives there and he is Muslim. I am dealing with some personal problem and he gave me a Muslim prayer to use before I go to sleep and when I wake up in the morning. I love him he's the sweetest. He seems to love it up there and yes he is also upfront and will check you.
