The stats Caliban quotes are consistent in the Pew data over a few years though they oscillate. However, the rub is this is based of the American Community Survey, a streamlined mini-census done annually that samples less than 1% of the population. It is supposed to be statistically significant but relies on response rates and sample coverages to match the Black population. We won't know for sure until 2020 when we find out how many people under 10 are list as Black + one or more other races. I am not even sure what the N is for the number of total Black marriages sampled.

Interesting thing is that, even if we accept 25%, Black men still marry out less than Hispanic, Jewish, or Native American males. Only Asian males date out less. We also date out less in the US than any other Western country so I say our disloyalty is exaggerated.

Lol it's not one or the other, Einstein. Race and gender issues are equally important, specially when they intersect. I would still be against anti-black racism even if I was the only black person on earth because I'm still black regardless.
