Here's a thing that's pressing about feminism amongst the black community.

Feminism in the white community works cause they already have stable family units. Less than 8% of their women have births out of wedlock.

Meanwhile, the black community in America is over 75% single parent led with a mother in the home. Advocating for women to be independent in this matter, if a recipe for failure. And the matriarch of the black now, when every other race has an established patriarchy is bound for FAILURE!

Take it from somebody who came from a stable two parent house hold, something that soon enough will never exist in the black community. The problem is not women wanting equal rights, which I support gender equality, the problem is black people stay trying to go from point a to point z without going through b to y step by step.

Black feminism is not about dividing black men and women, never was, never will be. Unless you're uncomfortable with the idea of women seeking equality regardless of race and gender there is no divisiveness. Y'all can't let black women be great can you? One would expect black men to be standing alongside black women in the fight to be treated as equals with everyone, instead a vast majority trash it meanwhile black women who are also feminists are always out there speaking up on behalf of black men. Ridiculous.

Why are you under this notion that black men are oppressing you as black women?

WE don't control the government, we don't control the justice system, we don't control the institutions that admonish reproductive rights for all women, we don't control the economy that allows women to make cents to every white man's dollar, and black people to make cents to every white person's dollar? WE aren't the ones in positions that hire and fire women in the workplace. It seems you forget the majority of industries in the world are controlled by 70% white men, and the rest of the majority of those industries are composed of 20%+ white women. But we, black men, that have been criminally oppressed and stripped of any part of power, and are the victims of it ourselves...are oppressing you.

Unless they blocked you I don't understand why you wouldn't have ever come across any. Black feminism, and feminism in general is not about being divisive. If anything, this anti-black feminist movement, and posts like this one are as divisive as can be. Come on, you call a black woman who just so happens to be attracted to a white guy a c00n/bed wench by default? That's ridiculous. Feminism only separates people if you strongly oppose the notion of men and women being held to the same standards.

Feminism is very much needed, if it weren't needed you men wouldn't feel emasculated and offended by the idea of a woman having her own and being able to make choices about who she chooses to date regardless of race. 'Cause quite frankly it's none of anyone's business who a woman chooses to love.
